Introducing Leaf Alkemy's "Brambles" Purple and Grey Fabric Pack – a carefully curated colour combination in shades of purple and grey. This ecoprinted and naturally dyed fabric bundle includes five distinct pieces, each with its own unique charm, ideal for slow stitching, embroidery, quilting, scrapbooking, or mixed media projects. Among the varied fabrics, you'll find the following:
1. Viscose (rayon) - grey background with dark grey and black grid pattern, hand printed with disused metal pieces from my collection of "tannins, oxides & indigo" - the background colour and pattern are a result of the reaction between metal objects and plant based tannins.

2. Cotton - pale purple background with dark ecoprinted foliage pattern of brambles and peony. The background colour was dyed with madder root and shifted to purple with iron.

3. Cotton - off white background featuring black and purple ecoprintsof blackberry vines . This is an irregular piece, an off-cut from a previous project.

4. Silk dupion, silver grey - handwoven, dyed with pomegranate rind.
Size: 8 x 12 inch; 20 x 30 cm
5. Silk dupion, purple - handwoven, dyed with cochineal and iron.
Size: 18 x 6 inch; 48 x 15 cm
